1. Our commitment
Fotography.gg is a community of photographers, and we take posting someone else's work without permission seriously. If your capture has been uploaded here by someone else — or you are a rights holder whose content appears on the Site without authorization — this page explains how to get it removed.
2. How to request a takedown
Submit a request using the form at the bottom of this page. A valid request must include:
- A link to the content on Fotography.gg (the photo page URL, e.g.
https://fotography.gg/photo/…). - Proof of ownership or original source — links to where the work was originally posted under your name, original capture files, or anything else demonstrating you are the creator or rights holder.
- Your contact information — your real name and an email address where we can reach you.
- A description of your claim — what the content is and why its presence here is unauthorized.
Requests missing this information may be delayed while we ask for it, or dismissed if it can't be provided.
3. What happens after you file
- Your request enters our review queue immediately and is marked new.
- A site administrator reviews the claim and the evidence, marking it reviewing. We aim to make a first response within 7 days of submission.
- If the claim is validated, the content is removed and the request is marked actioned. The uploader is notified that content was removed following a copyright claim and the removal is recorded against their account.
- If the claim cannot be validated, it is marked dismissed and we will tell you why at the email you provided.
Filing a knowingly false claim is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in action against your own account.
4. Counter-notice — if your upload was removed
If your content was removed following a takedown request and you believe the removal was a mistake — for example, you are in fact the original photographer — you may file a counter-notice. Use the same form below with:
- A link to (or description of) the removed content.
- Your evidence of authorship — original files, earlier timestamped posts, in-game proof.
- A statement that you believe the removal was in error.
- Your name and contact email.
We will review the counter-notice, weigh the evidence from both sides, and either restore the content or uphold the removal. We aim to resolve counter-notices within 14 days.
5. Repeat-infringer policy
We maintain records of validated takedowns. Accounts that accumulate multiple validated takedown requests are permanently terminated. Attempting to evade such a termination by creating a new account will result in that account being terminated as well.
6. A note on game content
Fotography.gg hosts player-created photography from the Forza Horizon series. The underlying game assets, vehicles, environments, and trademarks belong to their respective owners, including Microsoft, Playground Games, Turn 10 Studios, and the relevant vehicle manufacturers. If you are a rights holder with concerns about game-derived content on this fan platform, please use the form below and we will respond promptly.
